Sanctity of human life part two. For this blog today, let's assume we all share the same fundamental values when it comes to the sanctity of human life, mostly outlined in my previous post:
1) human life is sacred
2) human life begins at conception
3)human life is above animals' and plants' lives
Today i will be outlining what we should do with our belief in the sanctity of human life. With the hot topics surrounding human life so debatable and frustrating, how are we even able to speak on our beliefs without being attacked left and right and completely ignored? Simply speaking, you can't; but you can do something about it. It's entirely impossible to avoid criticism, to avoid different opinions and be degraded for your own. It's the reality of our world. However, we must be un-wavered in our faiths, values and morals. How are we able to do that?
1) Know WHAT you believe and WHY you believe
2) When talking to others, always treat them with respect and Jesus' love, even if they don't respond the same way
3) Remember that our ultimate, fundamental goal isn't to be right. It's to help spread awareness, revival, the Gospel, and Jesus' love
4) Educate yourself on both sides and understand the arguments and rebuttals for both. The more you learn about the other perspective, you firmer you yourself should be rooted into your morals because you now know how to rebut their arguments.
Most important to remember community. Surround yourself and be involved in groups who have the same morals and are fighting for causes you are passionate about.
